The spiral symbol has been used since ancient times to represent cycles of change, which is why it's so popular in garden art. Now it's featured on our M Brace%trade; raised bed kit, designed to make raised bed construction a snap. You won't even need tools! Once you have your lumber cut to size, just slide the boards into the patented corner braces and fill with soil - you're ready to plant.

Here's how it works. M BRACE™ consists of four steel corner braces. The inside of the brace contains a raised channel where you slide your cut-to-size lumber to form the four sides of the bed. You can customize your raised beds to any site, because you can choose any dimensions at all, up to 12 feet on each side.

The M BRACE™ is designed to work with any 2" lumber (2x4, 2x6, 2x10, etc.) The width of the boards you choose determines the depth of your bed. For example, using three 2x4s will give you a depth of 10.5 inches. Using a 2x10 and a 2x6 will result in a bed that's 14.75 inches deep. (Each side of the M BRACE™ itself measures 11" wide x 13" high).

Every M Brace™ raised garden bed kit is made in the U.S. from recycled metal. Over time, the unfinished steel product will oxidize and develop its own unique character -- unless you choose to paint or seal it. We also offer a bronze-tinted, powder coated finish that will weather the elements without rusting.

    Beautiful product! I have received many compliments. It is solid and adds a great artistic touch to my garden. The one frustration I had was in assembly. I did not connect my lumber before I slide them into the M brace. Once the soil is added the joints tend to pull apart. I had to rebuild my boxes after I had already filled them to fix the problem - not easy to do but very avoidable if you do it right the first time. Also I don't like seeing the joint through the cut outs in the M brace and some designs tend to show it. This also could be easily solved by better placement of the design. Having said this I should also say my garden boxes are next to a very expensive and elaborate pavilion I just finished building and the first compliment I get is usually directed towards the M braces. They add a lot to my garden.
