Bring the benefits of German engineering to your mowing experience! This classic reel mower is both quiet and evironmentally friendly, as it requires no fuel and creates no emissions. The reel design uses ball bearings and precision-ground blades of hardened steel to produce an optimum cutting pattern.

At 15 inches wide, this reel mower is ideal for small areas, narrow side yards, and lawns of less than 500 square yards. (It's not recommended for weedy areas, tall grass, or for some of the coarser, thicker turf grasses like St. Augustine.) There are four pre-set cutting heights that range from 1/2-inch to 1-1/2 inches.

Forget about the hassles involved with mising gasoline and oil, running out of fuel, or starting a pwer mower. Instead, enjoy the fresh air and the smell of freshly cut grass while getting some moderate exercise and doing something nice for the environment. At just 20 lbs, this reel mower is easy to move and store.

Most lawns do fine when you let grass clippings decay in place, but there is an optional grass catcher available for this mower.

    I originally bought the Brill 38 mower from bluestonegarden.com but after a few uses and multiple attempts to try to get it to cut better i gave up and sent it back. I bought this mower instead. I was skeptical because I thought my experience with the Brill mower (my first reel mower experience) was an indicator of what to expect from all reel mowers. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wolf mower is a couple of pounds heaver but pushes better/easier and in my opinion cuts much better as well. Same price as Brill but much better qualitiy in my opinion.
