Install it against a wall of your house, garage, or barn -- anywhere that gets a sunny exposure. It functions much like a coldrame in terms of extending the growing season later into the fall and earlier in spring.

About the glazing:
Our polycarbonate panels have many advantages. The twin wall construction features air channels that create an insulating effect, much like the thermal windows in your home. This promotes more even temperatures within the greenhouse, which provides better growing conditions for your plants. Our polycarbonate also has UV-resistant coating to prevent sun damage. It is virtually unbreakable.
Anchoring the lean-to greenhouse:
All greenhouses must be attached to a base or foundation for stability and support. An optional galvanized steel base is available for this model. You might also choose to build a foundation from 6X6 landscape timbers or cinderblock.
