Composting in the Tumbleweed is Easy
The Black Tumbleweed composter is made of 100% Recycled material. A stand up, vertical tumbling composter that rotates to turn the media. A stainless steel rod running through the middle, creates an aerobic action that breaks up the compost quick ly without opening or digging around in the composter. The Tumbleweed as a closed unit creates virually odorless form of composting.
Composting in the Tumbleweed is easy, just throw in leaves, tablescraps and other compost material into the bin and give it a couple of spins. Best if you turn it on a regular basis...daily is best while you are in the garden.
When the composter is full and becomes heavy, you can easily push down on one side while pulling up the other. The more material, the more useful the stainless steel rod is to break up the material in the composter. Accomplished with just a few turns. No digging and turning with a shovel.
With the Tumbleweed you will create dark brown compost in as little as 21 days. Composting time depends on moisture of the compost, your choice of materials, tempaerature and weather, and how often you give it a spin!
At either end there are two animal-resistant twist lock vented lids for easy filling and emptying while producing maximum aeration. Sturdy, galvanized tubular steel legs make the composter itself easy to spin. Comes with complete instructions to make your own compost.
